Happy Birthday Morgan Daniel!

I can't believe its been 3 years since I held my Morgan for the first time. I woke him up singing Happy Birthday and continued to sing it all day... he would beam with happiness and sing with me because he loved that it was his special day! We had cupcakes and he opened a few presents but his real party isn't until August 10th. The weekend after we get back from camping. Here are some pics from tonight:

Blowing out the candles on his cupcakes

Brittni got him some walkie talkies
Daddy and mommy got Morgan spiderman attire

And then we have this little item that was deamed "appropriate for a 3 year old" by my cousin Doug. When Doug told me he got Morgan a spider I looked at him like he was crazy. Then he proceeded to "Make me feel better" by saying "don't worry it's furry" Like that is supposed to make it less scarey and HORRIFIC. I think that description would make any NORMAL person have nightmares probably. So I asked him if it also had fangs to make it "less scarey." Anyways Morgan has mixed feelings about it. Its a remote control spider so Morgan can play from a distance but for SOME STRANGE reason when daddy chases him with it, he starts screaming.... hmmmm

A game of memory

Here is a fun little game... leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time or a long time, anything that you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It is pretty funny to read the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you are playing and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. On your mark... get set... blog those memories!

The Dark Knight

Of course we had to see it o opening day... I actually had to reason with Dan on why we couldn't go to the midnight showing... haha. It was great! I'm stealing all of Kris' facts because I'm lazy and want to include it on my blog:

Santa Cruz

We've made a business connection with a store in Santa Cruz called "Arbor Antiques." We met Daphny when we started selling our furniture in Alameda 2 months ago. She saw one of Dan's hutches and ordered one so we made a family trip down there on Sunday. First of all her store/house was AMAZING! After visiting her store we went down to the beach at the Boardwalk and had a nice time... even tho we did forget the stroller. That made it hard but we still made the most of it.
Wyatt fell asleep with food in his mouth on the way there :)
Daddy had to bury everyone

Picnic time

We decided to go hang out at the river by the movie theater. There is a perfect little spot near the bike trail my mom rides.

swim lessons

2 weeks of swim lessons was fun for Brittni and Morgan. Brittni learned the backstroke and really improved her freestyle. Morgan was in the mommy and me class but teacher Aundra thought he should have been in the guppy 2 class. He is fearless. He can swim pretty well under water back and forth to people but he would still drown because he can't stay above the water yet. He can also dive into the water and with a little help he can snatch up the rings at the bottom of the shallow water. They both have learned a lot and had lots of fun!

Katie.Elmer.Photography

I found a great new photographer and was lucky enough to squeeze my kids into her portfolio. We are EXTREMELY (sp?:) excited about how they turned out. Katie is getting her business started and I think she has a VERY successful future ahead of her. She was so great with the kids especially since the boys were crazy tired and I was worried there weren't going to be any good ones. Check out her Website:
