Trip to Walmart...

I hesitate to share this story because it just goes to show how much TV my kid watches and in turn you may think poorly of me... So yes people I recognize the PROBLEM and we are limiting Morgan's addiction to TV... I wonder WHERE he would get such bad habit!!

My mom and I went to Walmart the other day and took the boys of course to get a few food items. We're heading towards the back aisle so we can work our way to the front. As we do this we pass an end cap with a Charmin display and morgan yells "CHARMIN!" I would normally try to play it off like my 2 year old can read but I don't think many of you can be talked into believing that. So of course we are cracking up as we continue to walk and then he yells...

"CALIFORNIA!!" We were like "what?!" Then we see morgan pointing up above the dairy wall to the pictures of cows and we realized he is talking about the happy California cows from the cheese commercials!! So at this time my mom and I were pretty much out of control... at least I was. It was so funny I am still cracking up about it...

Then to top off our trip to the white trash capitol store Wyatt decided to puke all over himself and since I never have a diaper bag with me i had to take his shirt off to wipe up the mess ALL over the cart, floor and his pants... so I left with a shirtless baby ... from walmart... so i guess we fit in at that point right? lol

Happy Mother's Day!!

First things first... and MOST importantly! I finally got my Cricut Design Studio... I know you are all sooooooo jealous and I am so HAPPY!!! Its a dream come true for a scrapbooker like me! Thanks to my hunny and lil man Morgan...shout out to my boys! And I know no one REALLY cares but its computer software for my cricut machine that cuts out letters and it will allow me to do so much more for my pages!!! YAY!!

Dan and morgan got started on the vegtable garden... i am soooooo excited but we were all bumed that brittni was not a part of this special Smith event. She and Daddy had so much fun last year and took a lot of pride in their hard work to grows yummy-lish-ous veggies FOR ME! lol... She will be here in the summer to help them grow :)
For mothers day both sets of my granparents came over to my parents house for a yummy ham dinner and my grandma suggested a little trimmy-trim with the monsterous huge scissors... It was pretty funny because my mom was really nervous and kept saying "don't you cut me!" and grandma says back to her "I'm not gonna cut you!" RIGHT BEFORE she cuts her!
I tried to get a picture of grandma cackling with the scissors like a mean lady but she was too quick for my camera... haha.. But all in all my mom does look better without the wings on the side of her head!

My Morgan...

I can't leave this blog out... Morgan was playing with this box so I cut holes for arms and eyes... haha, he was loving it...

My Mom's cousin Joann, her daughter Amberly and grandson John stopped by for a visit and even though Morgan was having a really rough start and throwing the biggest fit ever, in the end he was happy he had little John Michael to play with.

Dan's side of the family

Last weekend we went down to southern california to see Brittni and visit with Dan's (paternal) grandpa and Lynn who were on a trip from North Carolina. We had a small little family reunion with his aunt Vikki's family as well. I only met them 1 time while Dan and I were dating about 7 years ago so it was fun catching up. We stayed at my aunt Sherri's house in Walnut (see blog below for pics) but then made the rounds to various family members houses on the Smith side. Here are some memories of our visit with Grandpa, Lynn and the Spring Family.

We had a picnic at Lake Elsinor campgrounds. Dan's cousin Amanda is on the right

Spontaniously, we then made our way to Dan's (maternal) grandmother Leona Smith-Bogart. She is so pretty at 90 years old and physically still very strong. She is very proud of all here family and loves when we can come to Hemet for a visit. She loved showing off her gorgeous roses.

Dan with his Grandma and a picture with Dan's uncle Doug and Aunt Kaye who now live with grandma.

We then made a quick stop to Dan's other Aunt and uncles house Fred and Irma (Tony's parents) but I don't have any pictures to show for it :( Irma was there and Tony and Andrea brought Bella and Brody to visit with us. We had a blast seeing everyone that we could and are sorry to those who we did not get a chance to see... Its hard when its all last minute and not planned out. SORRY Tim, Kristina and Emily! You are at the top of our list for the next visit! Congrats on Emily's Graduation!!!!!

Fun at Aunt Sherri's house

On our way home...
The Crazy Scientology Center... Its kinda spokey everytime we pass it on our way out of Hemet...

Matt and Dan reunited...

Best man Matthew Mauz and Danny boy reunited!! Matt, Jen and Alyssa were in town from Texas and we had breakfast... there would have been a picture of me and Jen but I guess Matt's finger that was supposed to push the camera's button is just too damaged from smoking a billion cancer sticks per day.... hmmmmmm food for thought MATTHEW
