The D and L Smith Collection

So a few awesome things have happened in the last few weeks for us! We sold a few things on craigslist and ended up meeting Erika Friend. She owns the cutest little shabby Chic store in Roseville called "The Tattered House." So we stopped by last Friday for her open house where we met her business partner Sandy. They were RAVING about Dan's catalog! These are the types of stores Dan grew up selling to. So it looks like we are going to have some business with them. They loved all the pictures of his furniture, frames and mirrors. We are really excited to see where God takes us with our old but new direction. As you may know Dan has been doing some residential cabinetry that takes up a LOT of what little family time he gets with us and its fun but it will be nice going back to this style of creativity.... That takes me to E-Bay. So my metro hubby has all this talent right?? We have bins and bins of lamp parts for Dan and I to make these gorgeous lamps. We are hoping this will also be a good side thing for us. Only God knows what will happen and we are trusting in Him that all works out! Anyways, thats our update for now. Please pray that we are taking our business in the right direction! Our New friend

Aiden is our new little friend that gets to come play Monday thru Thursday evenings. Morgan and Aiden are learning to share. That's pretty tough but they are working on it and getting much better. Morgan was very excited and cheering earlier when I told him Aiden was coming over. They are turning into best friends :)

Lost:Tooth

Brit girl lost another tooth! This tooth was loose a month ago people! Finally during this past week she kept telling me that she was almost ready for me to pull it out for her.... we all know my sick obsession with teeth... thanks Papaw! Anyways, last night we were in her room and she opened her mouth and said 'k, I'm ready Laura' and I popped it out so easily she didn't even know it was out! She was very excited and the toothfairy left her $5, I think cuz that's all she had on her... I know its way more than I ever got! Unfortunatly the toothfairy also ran out of her glitter that she usuallly leaves but she apologized in a letter to Brittni and all was forgiven!

HO! HO! HO!

Went to see Santa tonight... Morgan = not too happy about that so in order to get a half way decent picture we had to have him sit on Brittni's lap, which then covers up her beautiful dress. That was a little frustrating, so to get a good picture of her we snuck her over the railing by the Christmas tree when the 'santa's helpers' weren't looking and took a snap... It was hard to talk her into that, she didn't want to get arrested! Then there's Morgan in his little suit, can't get much cuter than that can ya?! Well you can if you're name is Wyatt and you're wearing a cute lil sweater vest! haha... annyways, here are some individual shots and the Santa pic for you to enjoy!

Shhhhh.... Baby sleeping!

Yay! My little monster is growing up! He has been sleeping well at night so we decided to put him in his crib tonight :) So far so good.... It's hard for mommy to rest easy but there's daddy over there snoring away ... I'm sure he (meaning daddy) was comforted with thoughts of Metallica 'rockabyes' brainwashing our sons' mind.... It's too late for Morgan that's for sure... Daddy's boy... totally not fair that he's getting Wyatt too. Oh well, I got my brit girl and we've got Gwen to keep us girly!Just thought I'd share that little milestone!

Toofers update

Our little Wyatt has 2 teeth already. The right one popped in first on October 13 and the left followed a few days later. It was not fun for about the 2 weeks they took to come all the way in but what a cute little set of toofers to show for all that screaming! We think he might be getting some more soon since he is drooling enough to fill a 5 gallon bucket per day and chewing on everything in site constantly. You can't tell in the picture but those 2 lil teeth are a little crooked... in the shape of a V.... a lil scarey cuz that's just like mommy too....

Getting this thing started
