Happy Birthday Wyatt!!

One year ago today (yesterday:) I was the happiest momma in the world. My sweet lil man Wyatt Lee Smith joined our family. This year has gone by so fast we can't hardly believe it! He is such a joy and we can't imagine our lives without him.

other wyatt facts: he calls Dan "dada" directly but then also calls other things "dada" too.. BUT when I ask him where Dada is he points to Dan. I am totally convinced he also says "Uh-oh" and "wus-aaat" and points to everything ... meaning "what's that?" prolly cuz we constantly say those words to him :) I prolly won't hear mama for a while just like with baby MO...

P.S. My poor baby started teething prolly in the womb and hasn't stopped since.... had 8 teeth at 7 months and hasn't had a break from the pain ever... :( That has turned him into the worst biter EVER, so beware!!

Naughty naughty!

So I was making my bed last week and i noticedsome beautiful artwork all over the walls. I thought Hmmm who could have done this?? My crazy Morgan maybe! He was very proud when we confronted him but quickly learned that was "not okay!" so he apologized to Nana and he had to help clean up his mess... and of course there are pics and a hilarious video

Summer fun!

We always have so much fun at the park. Morgan takes his scooter and Wyatt loves to watch. We also went swimming today... well the boys did

Even thru the water Morgan saw some boys playin and shoved his way in the circle. They were trying to make the bark fly off the spot where the water shoots outHe also made a little girl friend and followed her around the park

peek-a-boo

Wyatt loves playing peek-a-boo lately. He is at my favorite age because he is so playful

and covers his face on purpose and waits for us to see him and say "PEEK A BOO!" over and over and over.... lol so adorable

I think we've got a climber!

Wyatt was being a stinker so I of course grabbed my camera. He has also been trying to walk and I am rooting for him to succeed by his birthday. He has taken about 5 steps a few times but I haven't caught it on video yet. So i'm sure you will be seeing that soon!

Fun with the Percivals

Last week we went on a hike with Phil, Dana and new baby Gage Grant Percival at Folsom Lake. Morgan LOVES his uncle Phil and they had so much fun together. Morgan ran about 2 miles... not exaggerating.
