Our Twilight Getaway to Forks, WA

We are so loved by our family! I'm not trying to brag but we have been gifted many generous vacations over the course of our relationship and I am just sooooo greatful that we are so blessed with amazing family! Before we were married there was aunt renee and uncle reuben sending us to a weekend to remember for some amazing pre marital counciling! THEN when we got married my aunts Sue adn Denise sent us to Acapulco for our honeymoon for a week! Now, I'm thinking that my cousin Doug just got fed up with hearing me complain all the time that Dan and I needed to get away because he thought to send us to Forks, WA! If you haven't read twilight you can't imagine how thoughfull this was. He knows how much I love the books and sent us to stay at "The Miller Tree Inn" aka "The Cullens house" for 2 nights and then another night in Port Angeles... another important scene in the books. I took over 350 pictures so the following are only the best of the best vacation a twi-lighter could have! By the way this was all planned behind my back as a suprise!

In seattle before we got on the ferry to head to Forks
If the Putneys end up moving here, there is a Red Robin!!! YYUUUUUMMM!

Panoramic of Seattle

It took us a while to realize we had to drive the car onto the ferry... pretty neat cuz we have never done that.

It was a beautiful drive to Forks

Of course I had to be one of those freaks and take pictures of all the important signs and twilight special spots! This sign was replicated for the movie!
We went to dinner at a nasty lodge that I thought was the place they filmed the prom.... uh ...not so much! This plate of disgusting salmon was $30... and I didn't want rice, I wanted potatoe but the waitress would know that because she gave us our food and dissapeared for 45 minutes.... oh I mean just from our table... she was friendly with everyone else... I decided t=not to get too upset and ruin the night BUT I did complain and it was taken off our bill... it was all dry and gross and had no flavor! PLUS what the heck kind of veggie is that??? I am so sure!
This beach right outside the restaurant made up for the terrible food and service!
It was sooooo pretty ...

...and sooooo romantic!
Dan saw what he thought was a clam moving in the sand and decided to dig it up...

It was a crab!!!!

We of course by thiss time really wanted the kids there so they could see this cool crab! we took a video for them

The Hoh rainforest! I walked 7 miles!!! and I felt great too! No back pain!
It was a 3 mile walk to this gorgeous waterfall

Panoramic of the waterfall
It was magical!
Yuck! Banana slug!
Bella's truck!!! (I have to say it was pretty cheesy but cool too)
This is the Swans House
Dr. Cullen's parking spot at the hospital ... lol
Forks, High School
There were tons of shops and let me tell ya they had everything! they prolly write twilight on rocks and sell em too!

This was the coolest store, Dan wouldn't let me take pics inside... too embarassed

Where we stayed in Forks
Known to the town and visitors as "The Cullens" everyone was jealous that we were staying there!
A note from the Cullen Family
Going to La Push
Recognize this Art?? lol (inside the house)
Rialto Beach, right next to La Push.... GORGOUS
Looks like Bella and Jacob's log to me!!
Panoramics

At La Push.... Was our favorite Beach.... SOOOO romantical!
The Treaty Line!

More Hiking to another waterfall on the way to Port Angeles
Pics do not do the colors justice!
It was AMAZING
Me taking pictures of evey sign I see...
Where Bella and Edward had their first date!!!! Bella Italia!
I hate mushrooms so I did not order the mushroom raviolli and a coke ... I got manicotti and a bottle of wine all to myself and let me tell you... it was the best food and wine I have ever had and shout out to our awesome waitress Rachel! She got extra tipped!! It was such a romantical dinner!
